What a joke of an article, did he do his research on the internet? Without listing them, he left out 10 jewels that would easily take up his top 20, fabulous golf courses that never get mentioned, they market themselves by word of mouth.

I once wrote negative, but honest criticism here about the author of this article and had my post deleted.

So I shall refrain from commenting on this lest I get my grubby hand slapped again.

Come on now, is it really all THAT bad?

Barona Creek is a really good golf course. Shadow Creek is a highly over-rated golf course that is every bit as engineered as it's hype. ((Three decent holes, the rest complete repetition of Fazio holes on that course and others)

Nice to see Apache Stronghold, get back into the mix as far as conditioning is concerned. Now if there was some way to move the entire San Carlos tribe off the reservation and let the resort function without tribal management and service, they might rise-up to #4 or 5. (The course is that good, Architecturally at least. You just need a weed whacker as one of the clubs in your bag!)
