On the other hand, there are lots of well-conditioned golf course which are very boring to play (ex- Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Indian Wells).
I would rather play Pacific Dunes, which will never look like a country club, than to play a boring course that is well conditioned such as La Costa.
The long knives were out and it was damn refreshing.
