PGA Tour Driving Distance Watch, Week13

The PGA Tour Driving Distance average rose just a bit from 288.12 after the BellSouth to 288.6 yards. That's nearly 9 yards longer than last year at this point.

There were 12 over-350 or longer drives, bringing the season total to 844. The average percentage of over-300 yard drives rose from 23.8% to 24.04%.

With ShotLink coming to the Augusta National for the first time, it will be interesting to see if the PGA Tour includes the Masters in this year's statistics.

If Mickelson's new "two driver" thing catches on, you might have to split the list into "hook driver driving distance" and "cut driver driving distance."

Is this a marketing thing? If not, Mickelson have have accidently made millions for Calloway. Why not two drivers, these guys don't need 4 and 5 irons.
