A Tough Question For Tiger?

Thanks to reader Noonan for the link an interesting post over at a journalism watchdog site. It offers a suggested topic of discussion for 60 Minutes' heavily-criticized March 26 interview with Tiger Woods.

Tiger spends $5 million on his foundation to help kids learn life skills, and to promote diversity. His mother Kultida, and Tiger, talked about the racism that they were faced with in the early 70's. Here we are this week watching Augusta, where women are not allowed to join this club. Tiger and "Diversity", Forgedaboutit. Where is Tiger and 60 Minutes on this issue? Oh, there both participating in ANGC's covert operation. And most of you posters on this blog site are worried about the state of the game?

Did I hear you correctly 20/20? Did you say that Tiger "donates" $5 mil a year to "his charity"? What a wonderful philanthropist Tiger must be! He rakes in $80 mil a year and gives back a mere pittance of 6% which he only does so to lower his taxable income. In addition to that, while most of us poor slobs are squeezing two dimes together every year to get fifty cents at tax time Tiger enjoys the benefit of having all his money in an offshore account in the Cayman's thru his holding company called Privacy Ltd. All of which allows him to pay $22 mil for his yacht and $38 mil for his 10 acre island estate. I wish I would have had the horrible obsticals to overcome like he did.......and a God given talent to play golf like he has. Maybe the less we know about Tiger the better. Just enjoy him for what he is, a professional entertainer......and a damn good one at that!
