Phil and His Drivers...

Did anyone catch where Phil Mickelson mentioned in his post round interview that one of the two drivers in his pair gives him an extra 25 yards? Did I hear that right?

That would be the difference between a fade which wants to check when it lands, and a draw that wants to bound out when it lands. Makes sense to me.

Except that Mickelson has been shilling his equipment for years, claiming that every change gets him an extra 10 or 20 yards. He should be averaging 350 by now.
