Was that the last photo taken of Rees and Bobby together? Or is there courtroom video?

Still, how nostalgically refreshing is it to see somebody in sports, other than an NBA coach, wearing a coat and a tie?

Both Photos are of the third at Spyglass. The second is a reverse image. Thanks to Eric Johnson for sleuthing that one.

Sport coat and ties? Good luck getting Tom Doak to where one ...

Awwwww.......Good times! Good Times!

Little did Dad know that the two of them would still be fighting over the family fortune to this day!

Rees looks just like an arrogant little shit. At least Bobby has some sort of personality.
The original third at the Glass. Large fronting bunker now and much less green to work with on front left. Quite an epic shot when the wind gets whipping around two or three club strength. The old girl sadly has been altered and multilated quite a bit. Still a superb track, though some of the teeth have been taken out of her.

I am convinced that the second shot is No.10 Dunes Course MPCC.
What would be the "green area" to the left of No.3 at Spy? The course turns right after No.3.
In the first shot (Spy No.3) the two big rocks in the sea background are near. In the second shot, those two big rocks are off to the distance, towards the left. That second shot is MPCC.

Shocking to be reminded of how (relatively) young and healthy Junior once was. Last time I saw him -- a few months ago -- he looked like death warmed over.

Brawndo: Arrogant? Yes, and probably deservedly so. Little shit? Ever spent any time with him? If not, piss off.

O.K. then, Shithead.
One of the two big rocks in the second pic is Bird Rock.
The farthest point in the background of the second pic is the 17th teeing area at Cypress Point.

Uncanny resemblance between young Rees and Pete on Mad Men. Coincidence?

I don't know anything but could the second photo be the fifth at Spyglass?

Okay, back in New York, I can't remember Spyglass's routing and i certainly don't know how bunkering, etc. has evolved. But if Geoff or anyone else wants to know if either photo is flipped, here's how you do it. Men's jacket pockets -- on sportcoats and suits -- are always on the left side. Further, the buttons are always on the right side of the jacket and the jacket closes left over right. the way to remember this is the phrase "leftover." In this digital age where images are e-mailed all over the place, It's a fool proof way to see if an image of a man (wearing a coat) is ever flipped.

Hopes that helps you guys iron out the course ID.

That's a very none-evolved 5th with the 6th tee towards the right. The bottom picture is in fact the same hole and the photo is in fact, reversed.
Why would Rees Jones deserve to be arrogant? From reading the recent article on him in Golf Digest, he certainly seems smug (and has made quite a living for himself), but it appears that most of his work is done 'restoring' existing courses. In architecture, while the work is important, the best architects aren't the ones that specialize in historic restoration. It's the original work that counts. To be fair, I've only experienced one Rees Jones original- Sandpines in Florence OR. However, I can only describe that course as a wasted opportunity. That course is built in and next to Oregon sand dunes, and the course looks like something that could have been built anywhere.
