Is There A New American Course Under Construction?

I'm just perusing the archives and preparing my annual year-in-review story for Golfdom, and while I know The Cliffs folks claim that their Tiger Woods-designed course is under construction, I'm wondering if anyone can name a new American golf course that is under construction?

Dormie Club is back in action, no? does that count if it sat idle for a year or so?

In my area:

Applecross(Nicklaus Design) in Chester County, PA opens summer 2010

Heritage Creek(KBMoran) in Bucks County, PA 6 holes open now for play and maybe 9 will be open next summer.

Both are housing development courses.

This might be obvious but the Old MacDonald course at Bandon is being finished this year to open for 2010.

North of Topeka, Brauer's Firekeeper course--with Notah Begay--is being finished and grassed as we speak. I was at the casino for a benefit banquet a little over a week ago, and there's a lot of grass on parts of it.

It's supposed to open next summer, but I'm guessing next fall is more likely.

In & around Chicago

18 The Highlands(Hills) will open spring 2010 with new 18 holes.

27 holes at Butterfield CC(Smeyers) under construction, while it's technically a remodel, it will be a completely new golf course. Spring/Summer 2010

There is a new personal & private golf club just south of Harvard, IL. The course has between 6-12 greens with crossover fairways to make 18 holes. Bulk dirt is being moved this Fall. Owner wants no further details released. Maybe Fall 2010, mostly likely Spring 2011.

Does Erin Hills Count? Renovations continue, course not expected to re-open before Summer 2010.

How about Harbor Shores in benton harbor, MI a new Jack N course, with about 4 holes in the natural lakefront dunes.
