Tiger Story: Okay, This Is Spiraling...

...CNN reporting that the Windermere Police Chief is claiming that Tiger was "in and out of consciousness" yet they released him immediately and in good health?

The chief is also claiming that Elin broke the back window of the SUV to help pry him from the car even though the Orlando Sentinel reports there was hardly any visible damage to the car?

The spin doctors won't get much sleep tonight.

IMG is finally earning their fees.

Not so wild prediction: Somewhere beneath this lies the reason for Tiger's anger. Hope he gets it all worked out.
Hope so, friendly ghost. Something started at Turnberry and he's been cranky ever since.

As most of us who have been married, here is my take:

It happened at 2:30 AM.....probably a domestic argument gone seriously haywire..new baby,,,lack of sleep...argument gets really nasty....Tiger decides to cool down, goes to the car, starts to drive away...following him out, his wife take the club to the back of the SUV in a fit of rage....Tiger is completely startled, loses control of the car...etc.

Then the coverup...her smashing the back window..to get him OUT???? Highly doubtful. just an alibi..why not the passenger side window to get him out?

Domestic dispute gone awry, I think marriages when in your late 20s/early 30s can be full of drama, not to mention celebrity and a billion dollars thrown in.

I hope no one was hurt and as Ky said above, seems like some anger issues involved.

Wow, interesting, q...

...the back window does seem like a long way to go to get to the driver.

"Honey- theres someone named Rachel that I need to tell you............."
Hey, put down my 5 iron. You need to understand that she means noth...
Fine be that way. I'm outta here- uh... do you have my caddy keys?
Aahhhh! Sorry I asked!
Hey, stop chasing me and put down the club.
Crap, crap, crap, crap- Ouch!"
Where's Stevie when you really need him?

The only thing Elin would be capable of pulling out the back of a Escalade is an Amex Platinum card.

This "ordeal" started when Elin, quite obviously upset that she as found out her husband, the father of her two children, has been putting on the wrong green. This divorce settlement is going to be setting legal precedence. IMG agenst will be throwing themselves off of roof tops seeing all of that money just disappear into the hands of accepting divorce lawyers... I would suspect that she will also try to ge the divorce heard in California, despite the claim that they are Floridians.

This is going to be HUGE....

..and here I am, thinkin' he was chasing Nicklaus, not Palmer.

Life imitates a Nike commercial. Where was David Duval when all of this was happening?

Who ever predicted Tiger would not have his shit together?
11.27.2009 | Unregistered CommenterTighthead
Since when has Tiger been a role model? He does not act like a gentleman on the course, so why should we think he is one off the course?

I thought he was smart enough not to get involved and lose millions of dollars in a divorce. Plus, family troubles can lead to you using to Y. A. Yang in a major. Oops. That already happened. I guess he can now blame his wife for losing this summer.

\\ Who ever predicted Tiger would not have his shit together? //

Jack Nicklaus did. Jack once said that once Tiger had a family, that was when it was going to be interesting to see how he balanced life and golf. So far its been quieted down by IMG staff and personnel. Now, the gloves are off (literally on T-day holiday) and Golf's Worst Kept Secret is out. Its now gone mobile.

Heads will roll!

How can architecture compete with the human drama in full flight? Don't answer that.
11.27.2009 | Unregistered CommenterPickworth
They were probably arguing over the alleged affair Tiger was having. Elin would have a right to be upset by just hearing of such a thing. Wouldn't any husband or wife react the same way? I'd sure as heck want an explanation.

Would you have chosen a 5 iron or a wedge, Kelly?

The whole thing is beyond curious. Am I the only one thinking the wife went after HIM with the golf club?
And the pending charges may be against HER?

In any event, let's all take a step back and agree on one thing: somewhere in all of this is a pretty good golf joke, waiting to come out.

And I thought he was leaving to wait in line at Best Buy to get a new laptop on Black Friday.

Looks like TW has gotten himself into an unplayable lie. And that Elin took enough club.

Sooo the Enquirer story hits the stands on Wednesday.....Come Thanksgiving, Tiger's got a lot of splaining to do--especially the part about his alleged mistress staying in the same hotel in Australia (his Mom's there too!)--OUCH!! Now it's hard ball--I'm guessing she has responded to the public humiliation in the best way she can!! Elin has two children and is most likely a lioness protecting her cubs!!
Now was it an old groove club or new groove?? Nike's cringing...
We're all grateful that no one in this domestic squabble was seriously hurt, but who didn't see this coming?

The spin docs can go to sleep now. Correct-enough leakage can be viewed at TMZ (Nov 28 12:08 AM).

Well, I guess we really shouldn't be too surprised...given the father figure Tiger has and his associated track record. Really is a shame...

I think that q may have it right. Maybe we should ask Mr. Gary Player if Tiger is one of the ones on roids. Could appear to the laymen as rage from drugs after a domestic. Welcome to the real world Mr. Woods. Being protected from society goes only so far. If this was my friend I would be concerned about drugs from what I know at this time. Cocaine is the rich mans drug.
