Women's Open Shaping Up Nicely...

Enough of the Brand Lady...until she issues the inevitable goodbye press release.

The weekend is shaping up nicely at Saucon Valley, with those two charmers Kerr and Creamer atop, followed by unknown and unconventional Southern Jean Reynolds and 14-year-old Alexis Thompson in the top 10.

Golfweek offers a handy U.S. Women's Open all-you-need-to know page.

I cannot get enough of the Brand Lady, once again a number cruncher screws it all up!! And by the way maybe someone under the age of 40 should run the place.

Anyone catch Miller's comments on the ladies US Open at Oakmont?

(Paraphrasing Miller) '..they'll really need to work on their games if they expect to break par there'...And then Dottie's classic response (paraphrasing) 'last time, they comfortably broke par'...then Johnny returns with (paraphrasing again) 'it must have been an easy set up'.

Apologies for the lack of actual quotes - I heard this while watching the live coverage. Struck me as slightly uncomfortable and (potentially) controversial.

The wine was off, concluding with a three-jerk and two hissy-fits.

Winner Ji was nice to watch, interpreter and all.
