Showdown With Woods Offers Kim Chance To Face His Hero And Ask How Many Majors He's Won

Doug Ferguson reports on Sunday's potentially exciting showdown between Anthony Kim and Tiger Woods, with background on Kim growing up idolizing Woods. But unlike Woods who committed every Jack Nicklaus record to memory, Anthony is still fuzzy on Tiger's history.

Actually, wouldn't it be fun if old geezer Michael Allen slipped in and won the thing?

As an old geezer myself, yes, it would be fun if Michael Allen won.
Does AK fold like Sean O'hair at Bay Hill or does he suck it up like Hal Sutton at the Players Championship???

My guess is he is to nice and idolizes Tiger way to much to try and out smart him and physically beat him.

Also don't forget Billy Mayfair when be beat Tiger in LA a few years ago. Kim doesn't have that type of focus!

Maybe they'll both let Hunter Mahan win.

All this continual hype for AK and he isn't even as accomplished on the PGA Tour as Ben Curtis.

Agreed OWGR. It must be personality driven, although that is lost of me also. I expected the golf version of Federer - Roddick. Maybe one day.

tiger is one competitor..and i'll suppose that his dad was the one that assured that he'd wind up that way-in stark contrast to BJ Wie--whos kid is never so ready to fire a good round as when she's not in contention.

Damn I love it when I am right.

Now if my turnaround of Lehman Brothers comes true I'll pee in my pants.
