Today's Twitter Wars And Other Assorted Embarrassing Tweets

Seems we have a nice little Twitter spat developing between SI's Alan Shipnuck and Ryder Cup Captain Corey Pavin:

Or is it Mrs. Pavin putting the kibosh on Shipnuck?

And Stephanie Wei highlights an adorable Natalie Gulbis mistake. Make that, two mistakes.

God, I hope I never Twitter.

I want to maintain some sense of old-school decorum.

If I were Captain the first rule I'd put in place is no twittering, at least not from anyone in my own family!

"Old-school decorum??" Why Mr. Justice, I wasn't aware that you had that in you. You must be getting staid in your old age. . .

Pavin should tell his wife to step away from the keyboard. If this is the way he reacts, the Euro press is going to eat him alive at the RC.

For me, Shipnuck is the best writer going. He has some edge to him, which you sure don't see much in golf.

Seems like technology's overarching goal is to eventually completely remove everybody's inner dialogue.

From thought to text in 3 nanoseconds.

Why does everybody think someone is interested in what their id has to say?

Mrs. Doubtfire will sooner or later tear a strip off captainess2010. It'll be a fun Cup.

What's going on here? don't understand, who's "blocking'' whom and why are they quarreling to begin with? Makes no sense...

I would have thought Shipnuck was Lisa Fernandez to Corey's Jackie Robinson.

Fusilli I would say Alan is maybe Tommy Maddox, or Abdul-Jabaar - the running back.
