Meanwhile TMZ reports that Tiger met with Tavistock officials to plot his likely comeback appearance March 22-23, followed by the Masters.

Two things about the report are fascinating. One, that he was accompanied by security guards even though he was simply going from his home in Isleworth to his other home in Isleworth for a meeting.(Or, maybe he knows something about the Tavistock people we don't.)

And second, that it appears if he skips Bay Hill, as TMZ suggests, his first two events will be in tightly controlled media and fan environments. In other words, his schedule is being crafted around the ability to control access instead of what might make sense for his golf game or for events down the line hoping for a focus on golf.
