Deutsche Bank Extends To 2012, Takes On Presenting Sponsor

Great news for the Boston event and even better news for the tour to retain a vital sponsor that takes on a presenting sponsor in EMC.

This is very very interesting. Maybe a new strategy for getting sponsors to sign on the dotted line has emerged here? If they are dragging their feet get some "non-traditional" media site to start spreading rumors about the sponsor bailing thereby forcing them to step up to the plate and announce their intentions!

The Charlotte Observer articles about Quail Hollow getting the 2017 PGA included some interesting quotes about how Quail has not been approached by the Tour regarding extending the regular event past 2014.
