Golf Channel is televising the anchoring ban at 8:30 ET...5:30 PT Wednesday morning. The two leaders of their respective governing bodies will be announcing the anchoring ban from Orlando...

On a special edition of Golf Central (10 a.m.-Noon ET), host Rich Lerner will be joined by Davis and Dawson in Golf Channel’s Orlando studios to further discuss the ruling.  Additionally, Steve Sands and Frank Nobilo will be reporting live with reaction and analysis from Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, Calif., site of this week’s World Challenge, where Tiger Woods will host and play with an elite field of 18 the top players in the world.  Todd Lewis also will be reporting from PGA West in La Quinta, Calif., where 172 players are competing at the final stage of the PGA TOUR Qualifying tournament – better known as Q-School.  Michael Breed, host of the popular Golf Channel instructional series, The Golf Fix, will be on hand in Golf Channel’s Orlando studios and NBC’s Johnny Miller will call in with his reaction to the news.

Rich Lerner, Steve Sands, Frank Nobilo, Todd Lewis, Michael Breed...man, what a deep lineup at GC. It's a veritable Murderers' Row.

They are doing this from Orlando? Is this like the neutral United Nations locale of golf?

Anybody want to set the over/under on the number of words required by the attorney's at USGA to explain the rule? I will likely take the over.
Wednesday at 8:20 a.m.: Nice to see The Golf Channel on top of things. The bottom-of-the-screen scroll says the USGA & R&A teleconference is "tomorrow."
