"AK...It's Chris Paul...Chhhhrriss Paul...AK? Chris Paul?!"

Reader Diane tipped me to the presence of Chris Paul at the far end of Riviera Friday afternoon and the former Hornet, former Laker and current Clipper was indeed out watching some PGA Tour golf.

As Anthony Kim walked toward the 16th green, his head down mulling yet another missed cut, Paul yelled out to "Hey AK." Then another "AK!" When that didn't work, the All-Star guard opted to name drop, yelling "Hey AK, it's Chris Paul."

Still no acknowledgement for these former nightclub pals, and it was starting to get embarrassing. But he's an All-Star for a reason and Paul this time drew out "Chhhrriss Paul," then capped it off with another "It's Chris Paul!?"

His brain cells finally moving, AK gave a brief glance up, then nearly sprinted to the ropes. Maybe that's why he ended up signing for an incorrect score.

Either way, the goosebump-inducing bromance rekindling. I couldn't think of a caption...
