Daniel Chopra's 67 million to 1 Feat...At Pebble Beach

Jerry Stewart with news of Daniel Chopra's AT&T National Pro-Am Monday practice round feat, where he aced Pebble Beach's 7th and 17th holes.

On No.7, used a 52 degree wedge from 102 yards out. On the 176-yard 17th, site of Tom Watson's chip in the 1982 U.S. Open and Jack Nicklaus' 1-iron in the 1972 U.S. Open, Chopra used a 7-iron.

In his previous Pro-Am appearances, Chopra has had a mixed bag. From 2005 to 2007, he recorded finishes of tied for 16th, T-5 and T-11, respectively. He then missed the cut in his next three Pro-Am starts.

Following his round at Pebble, Chopra headed over to legendary Cypress Point Club for more. There was no word what he did on Cypress' spectacular par-3 15th and 16th holes.

Wow. It's unbelievable.

Chopra has always been good, he's made numerous aces in competition over the last few years.

He went to Cypress to play after two holes-in-one.

Yet another difference between me and a Tour pro. I would have gone directly to the Pub in the Lodge.

Life's rough, Pebble and Cypress back to back.

Chopra is a cool dude. Won a Nationwide event in Richmond and we were drinking some brews in an empty clubhouse. He made sure to come over and shake each one of our hands even though he was rushing to catch a flight. Fan for life. Way to go Daniel.

Ho hum.

Kim Jong Il did it first.

And he did it twice. At least that's what I read.

I played Cypress than Pebble, with I could have just stayed at Cypress, way better than Pebble. Dont get the hype over Pebble, not a $500 a round course. Now $160 at Cypress, would have payed $500 there.
