Foltz Sprints Out Of The Gate, Only Speed In Morning Drive Derby?

Jerry Foltz has gotten an eye-popping majority of votes for the Morning Drive replacement poll to repleace Erik Kuselias, who has been sent to Pawtucket pending clearing of waivers.

If you haven't voted in this terribly important poll yet...

Who should be the new co-host of Golf Channel's Morning Drive?

Holly is engaged to Eric? That is worse than me not knowing Holly might be engaged to Eric. But is it true? Say it ain't so!

Foltzy is always super. Love him.
Paul Goydos was fantastic. He has a very bright future in broadcasting.
Holly makes the show for me though.
No contest.

Why isn't Peter Kessler in this mix?

Good ole Foltzy looks like he's taking a nap when he's on MD. great guy but not sure this would be a gig he'd want. Kessler would be great but I think he's getting the cold shoulder from TGC. Something about our society when you speak out against certain things you tend to get polarized. TGC will get a good replacement--no doubt in my mind these are some smart people there.

I vote for John Hawkins. He always tells it like he sees it! He digs for stories that others seem to miss.

If Charlie Rymer gets this gig, I will quit watching, Holly or not.

What a windbag.

I'm astonished that Charlie Rymer received more than one vote -- his own.

Surprised that Jimmy Roberts didn't rack up more.

GC needs to go outside for the guy. Gary is all the assistant pro i can stand. Only need one guy who describes every venue as "a great haven for the game of golf" every politician is "a great humanitarian" his kids are "the light of my life" Ouch.

I'll say i liked Kuselias, maybe because he kept it moving and was the only one who knew anything about any other sport.

If they pick any of these guys, they risk people falling asleep

hawkins is the natural choice because he respects his audience and is not afraid to make the tough judgement calls and is generally originally insightful

from the brief amount i heard, foltz came across less than ideal filling the air with irrelevance..
