#FirstWorldProblems To The Extreme: Tiger Admits The Constant Questions About Hitting Small White Ball Can Sometimes Be A Little Annoying
David Dusek on Tiger's press conference today at the Greenbrier:
"I have to deal with it in every single press conference," he said. "I have to answer it in post-round interviews—whether it's with your guys or in a live shot [on TV]. You do that for a couple of years, sometimes you guys can be a little annoying."
Meanwhile, Notah says the annoying has been movtivating Tiger. Who to believe?

And because in the past you willfully chose to answer simple innocuous questions about your family and home-life with curt "That's personal" or "no comment" one liners makes me want to give your head a shake and scream "Come on man!!! Get your head out of your A$$!!! WTF do you expect to be asked anyways...your favorite sugar cereal to eat while watching cartoon network??!!!"
He has to answer them at every session. You would think that the press would get it by now.
I think Tiger has been more than tolerant of them up to now.
If it were me, I might have told the press off and simply refused to answer ay more.
But you Tiger haters will take the opposite view just because it suits you.
Also in fairness, tiger was answering a question about the back/when would he win again questions. And then said dealing with that for a couple yrs, when he threw in his you guys can be a little annoying line.
And reporters had to ask, but if you constantly had to answer same question, you prob would also find it annoying. His answer was almost real, would you have preferred it is what it is? :)
Gosh, I wish I had a job that had paid me a base salary of nearly $100 million and total compensation pushing $1 billion, and the most annoying part of it was answering the same questions over and over. Geez, have some fun with it to make it more tolerable. Be sarcastic, don't be afraid to deprecate one's self (highly unlikely in this case), anything to break the monotony. But seems you have forgotten, answering these questions over ad over gives you exactly the platform to fuel that hyper inflated ego that drives you. Can't have your cake and eat it too.
There's an easy fix: quit playing.
you do what you want...not what others desire...
easy fix: don't do interviews
Press Agent, quitting the game won't happen, but not speaking to the media is a distinct possibility! All this winning Tiger is doing and the accompanying coverage is just killing you isnt it?!? LMAOAY.
Then again, 75% of the people who post here annoy me, too. So maybe I can just relate... ;-)
The man who was touted to "do more for humanitythan any man before him" , "the chosen one", and "greater than Gandhi" isn't even able to keep his panties from bunching at a tournament pressor.
Tiger is a sad excuse for a person.
I can't recall verbatim what Arnie said, but the point he communicated was something like this:
"I understood the role they played. Sure - there were some that I wasn't particularly fond of, but I always tried to play ball with all of them. These interviews are really the only way that the fans have to connect with the players, and I never looked at that aspect as an inconvenience. The fans were largely responsible for my salary, and I never forgot that."
He is quickly becoming "The King of the Shop-rite Classic"
Yawn.
Call me when Old Porndog has won a major.
Tiger isn't being unappreciative of his lifestyle, or complaining about how horrible the the media is, and the comments on this page are more questionable considering you just read a two paragraph story and now throw your hate on Tiger. I'm not a Tiger supporter, just someone with an ounce of common sense who doesn't jump to conclusions. I'd like to see how some of you'd react if in his situation, and better yet if Tiger did quit how so many of you would bash him even more
Geek, it's coming! In the meantime he's picking up a check from Rolex ;). Have you thrown yours out?
As for Tiger, no idea if he'll win The Open but if I had to make a bet on a single player he would certainly be the guy.
Who is your top pick? Do you have a simulator like Hole in Three? What's it saying?
