The PGA of America has some interesting things on tap for the annual Merchandise Show Jan 24-26 in Orlando. Some firsthand accounts would be nice since the transcripts and video tend to be pretty unreliable. Volunteers?

kidding............
Of the programs mentioned, I have only heard of " Tee It Forward ". And where is First Tee mentioned ? Even though a USGA program, it deserves some mention.
To an outsider, it seems more like a " Wait unti llthe boss orders a drink " expense account week.
I would like to see, each week on a Saturday morning or afternoon, at one public course in each city / region, a free lesson or hit golf balls at the range from Memorial Day to 4th of July or maybe Labor Day. Rotate the freebie afternoon, heavily supported or paid by PGA, around the public courses in each region. Try to get kids / young adults interested. Run an ad in the local paper, get the odd spot on TV.
It was encouraging to see Dottie added. Hope Dottie can wake the old geezers up.
