William Morris Endeavor About To Become A Huge Force In Golf

The Hollywood mega-agency is poised to be the highest bidder for IMG, golf's most historic and wide-ranging agency, report Rachel Abrams and David Gelles.

Backed by Silver Lake, its private equity investor of less than two years, William Morris Endeavor plans to offer more than $2 billion for the sports agency, according to people briefed on the matter who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to comment publicly.

And here I was hoping they'd do the sale on Craigslist and all of us could pool our money….

Del and Ky would run things, elf's job would be to beg Tiger to come back, and tlavin would be in charge of offending people who are religious or have different political opinions (with a few assists).
What big-time players do they still have in US besides Palmer? I think they're stronger in Europe. Obviously they are much more than golf but no clue as to assets, etc. I'd like to see a roster of their major clients, is such a thing available??

I found a 2009 Variety listing by using a little-known gadget called "Google": http://variety.com/2009/film/news/wma-and-endeavor-s-top-clients-1118002902/

Everybody from Psy and DEADMOU5 to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. No athletes; but talent management is talent management, I guess.
As it currently stands Tiger is so not worth begging to come back (I mean really do you want to have to work with Steiny?).

Heck, unlikely they'd have me back... ;0)
