William Morris Endeavor About To Become A Huge Force In Golf

The Hollywood mega-agency is poised to be the highest bidder for IMG, golf's most historic and wide-ranging agency, report Rachel Abrams and David Gelles.

Backed by Silver Lake, its private equity investor of less than two years, William Morris Endeavor plans to offer more than $2 billion for the sports agency, according to people briefed on the matter who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to comment publicly.
