Pretty cool.

Most powerful man and best golfer ''ever'', and SMM could care less, so much so, he had to let us know...? :)

BINGO!

Can't you just see Rosaforte running around grabbing napkins out of garbage cans and interviewing golf shop personnel?

"Golf World's Tim Rosaforte is holed up in the Floridian clubhouse "

I clicked over from the Ohio State/Wisconsin game to hear Kelly T. shouting "Breaking News"...I thought maybe Armaggedon was here or maybe a meteor strike..."and now we go live to Tim Rosaforte reporting from the men's bathroom...whatcha got for us Timmy?"

"Kelly...Tiger and the President teed it up today...this is truly a day for all the people...now back to you."

This is why the Golf Channel wins all those Emmys...dynamic!

Was told president couldn't get on Seminole today after request made. Needed to be a house guest and wasn't.

He should offer the USGA antitrust protection and he would never have to ask for an invite to Seminole again.

@digsouth: it's "couldn't" care less.

The president played at my club and only a few ardent right wingers acted offended. It was a pretty cool day for the club.

The president should apply to the Everglades Club. Lovely people there.

Tiger and Harmon can both get on Seminole, if they'd wanted to play it, they would have. A lot easier for the secret service to not have the President travel though.

Kelly: "Tim Rosaforte our Insider broke this story for us...what did Tiger have to say about his round with the President?"

Insider: "well he declined comment but word is he had a great time"

Kelly: "And what did President Obama say about his round with Tiger?"

Insider: "well he declined comment but word is he had a great time."

Kelly: "Thanks Tim for that great insight you heard here first exclusively on Golf Channel."

@ @digsouth

Am I on Candid Camera?

Thanks for the correction- been doing that wrong my whole life, but I could care less.

BTW elf. whenever you see this-- I am needing a whole new laptop, with the doggone keyboard just the (obvious) tip of the iceberg (or @digsouth--iceburg??)

Rosaforte called it a historic day for golf? Idiot.

These urban legends about important liberals being turned down to play at hard-ass conservative clubs are such nonsense. They resurface every few years, and people continue taking the bait. It takes about five seconds of serious thought to realize how silly the notion really is. Both sides of the aisle love the rumors--liberals for how the tales demonize the right, conservatives for showing how they won't bend their principles for anybody.

Tiger played Seminole last year with a member, his son and bob ford. Unless tiger was a house guest this weekend he couldn't have played Seminole. The same situation the president was in. End of story.
