It's Good To Be King: Arnie Smooches Kate

We knew from Doug Ferguson earlier in the week that Arnold Palmer was positively giddy about getting to meet 20-year-old SI Swimsuit Issue cover woman Kate Upton.

Well he certainly got to meet her. And kiss her he did. And I'm sure his left arm was behind his back.

And she received an umbrella pin, making her an official member of Arnie's Army.

Also, The King visited with the far less attractive Darren Rovell on a Good Morning America appearance to plug his drink and reveal his preferred ratio of lemondate to iced tea.

About 20 years ago, I saw Ted Williams meet Dwight Gooden when Gooden was still young and strong.

I remember thinking, "if Ted were 50 years younger, Gooden would feel about 2 inches tall."

Not sure Kate would feel 2 inches tall, but I trust it would've been a totally different dynamic.

IMO..... The Iced Tea/Lemonade (50/50) drink marketed under Arnies name currently is just flat AWFUL tasting.

Whether it's from a can, plastic bottle or [lastic jug.

I live in Western PA and a couple of local IT/Lemonade blends are light years better tasting that what Arnies has licensed...... Sad but true.
