President Trump Tees It Up With Tiger, DJ And Someone Else

Oh how quickly they forget!

Having 280 characters at his disposal still didn't encourage the President to get a mention in of the fourth today:

Brad Faron!:

The President is a Taylor Made man!

We did get some Tiger swing video too...

Trump seems to be using the presidency to play with as many top golfers as possible. Tiger, Rory, Ernie, DJ, Matsuyama already. He plays more golf than I do these days and it’s summer heat in Australia

One would think sporting a Trump cap would merit both mention and correctly spelling of one’s name.
Tiger betrays his father’s life experiences by playing golf with Trump, but conviction and loyalty never his strong suits

"Just so you guys know, I am a much better golfer than Barack"
Johnson Woods and Faxon should just wait a couple of months and trump will have even more time to play golf

Way to stand up to hate Tiger.

General Flynn has not been golfing.

I'd play golf with any President who asked.

TIger's played golf with every President during his time as a pro, no?

That's how you remain neutral.

Remember the Hello World ad? "There are still courses that I'm not allowed to play because of the color of my skin."

Tiger, your playing partner used the most powerful platform in the world to call black men protesting police brutality "sons of bitches" in order to score political points with his base and divert the narrative away from an investigation into possible treason.

Still a ways to go to pass, Gandhi, I'm afraid. Swing looks good, though.

You people ripping Tiger must be a barrel of laughs to hang out with. Sheesh. It’s a round of golf. Are you telling me you check the politics of everyone you play golf with? Lighten up Francises.

Most of the Trump bashing comes from Europe. You know, the continent with no web site the equivalent of this one.
The American stock market is roaring, unemployment is low. Pro golf is exploding and amateur game quit stable, sound enough that all the best players from Europe are escaping to play here. Meanwhile, joggers in Sweden are demand police escorts just to get some exercise safely. Europe is in deep trouble and they brought it on themselves. It’s little wonder they slam Trump—they’re jealous, and misery loves company!

11.24.2017 | Unregistered CommenterMatthewM
#Doctor - what a very large load of &*$% you wrote. Been jealous of Trump, or anything related to Trump, is like admitting you have a serious mental illness. And may I suggest you take a look a the USD/EURO exchange rate since the dotard was elected? Europe is doing just fine - and that's coming from an Australian
11.24.2017 | Unregistered CommenterIan B.
@Doctor: "Meanwhile, joggers in Sweden are demand police escorts just to get some exercise safely". WHAT??? Now that's someone with as firm a grasp on reality as on English grammar, that... By the way, our growth numbers are the same as US's - an estimated 3,0 % for 2017. US unemployment figures are down because about one third of the adult population aren't even looking for work, while the rate of employment among the adult population in Sweden is the highest in the EU at 68% (about 10% higher than the US). And, erm, we have no mass shootings. Sure, I wouldn't mind an upper middle class country club American lifestyle, but not many teachers can afford that in the US, can they? I like my jogging routes just fine here.

How quickly some Americans are to turn on their European neighbours and allies. This should be a story regarding a game of golf and should not be used as an anti-Trump set of rants regardless of how politically you view him.

11.25.2017 | Unregistered Commenterchico
Nice try, Stephen W. Good luck with that when neither side will admit, let alone acknowledge unless forced to, they have sh*t clinging to the inside wall of their ideology bubble. It's my way or the highway to the land of polarization.

You would think that Trump could take a breather on tweets bashing the Balls, NFL players, Rosie O'Donnell and get down to something serious like: How did Tiger hit them? Seriously, the Prez has one opportunity to tweet something that communicate information that the rest of the world does not know and it becomes a state secret. A tweet on how Tiger hit them would be the one tweet that had any redeeming value. BTW, it appears that Trump Jupiter has a wall or security to keep people out. How is our wall going?

TRUMP: Golf Digest just called to let me know I was awarded Golfer of the Year, but I informed them that I never have time to play golf.'

I'd think it an honor to play golf with any POTUS, past or present, regardless of their political persuasion... It's about respect for the office, not necessarily the person in the office or his/her policies. But that's just me.

So Bill, GW, Barrack, Donald... if any of ya'll ever need a 4th, I'm SURE you can figure out how to reach me... :-)

Tiger Woods plays golf with the racist who promoted the birther movement and claimed that the investigators he sent to Hawaii had found out "amazing" information. Still waiting for that amazing information.

So I've had the fortune to meet the following Presidents:

Ford
Carter
Clinton
W
Obama

I can honestly say that I'm not sure I'd accept and invitation to meet Trump. I have such little respect for him that I'm not sure I "respect the office" while he is the occupant .
11.25.2017 | Unregistered CommenterCroDad
It would be easier to respect the office if the office holder respected it.
11.25.2017 | Unregistered Commenter3foot1
Since Trump hasn't tweeted anything about Tiger's round or performance, I have to assume that he was a bust. I'll guess we will see this weekend.
11.25.2017 | Unregistered CommenterBrianS
Since Trump hasn't tweeted anything about Tiger's round or performance, I have to assume that he's really worried that his National Security Advisor has flipped and is willing to tell all to save FlynnJr. from a life in prison. I'll guess we will see sometime this week.
11.25.2017 | Unregistered CommenterCarl Peterson
Can’t and won’t respect the office of someone who says in a campaign that they want to ban the entry of a specific religious group and who has consistently denigrated African-Americans.

Can’t and won’t respect people who play golf with him.

Losing respect for the institutions of this game.
11.25.2017 | Unregistered CommenterDB
I don't know, CroDad. For someone with the good fortune necessary to generate that list, doesn't it at all strike you as a race to the bottom? Reason enough we have a political outsider as POTUS, that happens to be a temperamental azzhole as a byproduct. At this point I don't care as long as he cleans up most of the wreckage and time bombs left behind by his predecessor. Yeah, he "acted" presidential for the camera but it was pure kabuki given what we know today about the IRS, EPA, DOJ, CIA, FBI, NSA and DHS. If the establishment swamp wasn't fully invested in saving their own behinds, we'd have a docket comprised of nothing but politicians booked solid for decades.
11.25.2017 | Unregistered CommenterD. maculata
Never known anyone to divide opinion quite like the very mention of Trump's name.
11.25.2017 | Unregistered Commenterthe baron
Oh how I long for the days when Shackland posters were bashing each other over the long putter. I surely enjoyed it more then. You can count on a blog or news agency that allows comments on politics to always end up displaying the anger in people, their willingness to share that anger and the eventual bitch slapping contest that always ensues.

My chipping is improving.

Have a good day :-)
