Give it a month and you'll be able to find it at Ocean State Job Lot, next to Hillary's $3.99 book.

What a jerk this guy is. He can't show up at the API but he can get to NYC to hump his book.

Money grab. It's come to this.

Yeah, right. The sad part is Genesis would have gladly constructed a one-off Stephen Hawking type vehicle so he could show up at Riviera and communicate. The guy doesn't want to be anywhere near a golf course for any reason. Arnie or not.

So are we still pretending his back is hurt?

Signs 50 copies, retires due to wrist injury.

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Tiger's Twitter post from 3/9, exactly 8 days ago..."Sadly missing the 2017 API. I really wanted to be there. My best wishes to the Palmer family & everyone at Bay Hill." But he can show up for a book signing? C'Mon Man!

Blows off Riviera, blows off Bay Hill.
He's the very definition of the acronym "TFG"

@Ed: LOL...well played.

Pat Perez called it...and got attacked for calling a spade a spade. Doesn't change the fact Eldrick has one foot in the retirement pasture.

@ Ed... or at the advice of his dr.'s, he will bail at the last minute and will need to stay in a horizontal position. But he'll still be there in the city, just can't make it.

Maybe he will be in one of those Hannibal Lechter stretchers where they wheel him in flat and swivel him upright.

One has to admit that it isn't beyond possible.

Are we sure that Tiger won't show up in Bay Hill on Sunday?

Additionally, there is an IHOP about 2 or 3 blocks from the B&N in Union Square with some hot looking pancake waitresses.

great posts! one and all.

he may not show, after all those people pay list price for the book, hoping to get it signed.

As a real collector of First editions, i will wait till i can get it on ebay for under 10 bucks, not because it is TE, but becay=use i have a pretty good collection of golf First Eds.

One bummer- Having a couple of one of my heroes, I never got him to sign one of my first eds of his. Dam!

dig

No surprises here. If someone is handing him money to simply show up... he's there. If he has to earn it by putting his golf ball in 72 holes in less strokes than everyone else... he's not interested because he doesn't stand a chance.

It's sad what he's become. And for the record I didn't bring up Dr Galea in this Tiger related post.

Jupiter: well said...despite the obligatory dodgy Canuck doctor dig lol.

You just did. You're as bad as your hero DT.
