Comment: Sandy Tatum was quite the renaissance man when it came to golf. The amount of work he did to raise the profile of golf was tremendous. Not only did he play, but he helped design some beautiful golf courses thanks to his golf education that he gained from years of playing the sport. Golf lost a true great with the death of Sandy Tatum.
