Doug Ferguson wonders if this is the best Tiger Woods has ever played and reports, thanks to the ever-pleasant Stevie, that Tiger is hitting the ball so well he has not hit a post-round practice ball since Carnoustie.

Today's pros are routinely lauded for their work ethic, including the practice of hitting hundreds of balls every day. You wonder if that's the best thing to do from a long term perspective. Maybe Tiger has just figured this out.
