A cynical reader noticed this coincidental USGA.org front page photo of U.S. Open entrant Michael Chang backed by an IBM logo, which happened to appear the week the USGA announced a new partnership with...IBM. I explained to the reader that this was likely not intentional as cropping the photo down to just Chang's torso and head would have altered the sense of place and corporate whoring by the USTA, which so kindly provided the image.
