A Dentist's Tiger Tooth Theory...

Longtime reader John is a dentist and has seen some of the commentary speculating on Tiger's tooth loss and the lack of blood, swelling or general awfulness when the event was said to have occurred.

He offers this explanation:

His tooth was probably fractured at the gum line horizontally, not a avulsed or knocked out. That is why you see no trauma to the lip. Tooth was involved in some form of trauma many years ago which caused it to yellow, the nerve slowly dies. He probably had endodontics done on it at some point which further weakened it. Probably didn't take much force to fracture the crown at the neck or gum line. He will probably have an implant placed.

Now, if we could just get a Freudian to explain the skull mask.
