Long rumored and maybe the worst kept secret in golf, it seems about time for the USGA and Shinnecock to put the finishing touches on the 4000 page contract and make an announcement. Or maybe the lawyers just need to edit that clause titled "No Mowing, Rolling Or Any Other Perceived Attempt To Speed Up Greens Between The Hours Of 10 p.m And 4 a.m."
