Instagram Roundup: All Ages, All Types Going For Clubhead Speed And Topping Out At 137 MPH (Yep)

There seemed to be a Monday theme to Instagram golf posts, or maybe the algorithms are just trying to help me generate more speed.

First off, our little buddy Down Under Sam Blewitt is progressing nicely from his days whapping at ice cubes. And so much hair since we last saw him!

Charlie Reiter is headed to USC next year. If only I could get about 37 miles per hour more I'd catch him in the clubhead speed department.

@charles_reiter is a beast💪🏾💪🏾

And a bit slower...but the passion is just as strong for the shot outcome...

Not so fast here...and not the outcome I expected.

Paige Spiranac presented our nation's leaders with this reminder of how much golfers spend, also noted in this Golfweek item. This is something our fine leaders have rewarded in the We Are Golf era by going after tax breaks for golf courses as green spaces, nearly revoking the PGA Tour and PGA of America's tax exempt status, and coming this year, eliminating entertainment deductions that could wildly impact the industry. So it's hard to fathom why National Golf Day marches on, but it does...

Weekend Instagram Roundup: Landry Looks Good In Boots, Kid Rock Goes Kite, Ariya Cries More Than Moriya, Sand Valley On Earth Day

Andrew Landry's Valero Texas Open win was an emotional one for his family, who've saw him come close to winning earlier this year and have witnessed no shortage of struggles, Mike McAllister writes for PGATour.com.

Also impressive of Andrew to take a few minutes away from his celebration to piece together a #LiveUnderPar graphic and image to make for Tweet No. 70 from his account. These Guys Are Good!

It seemed like no one could hit a decent putt Sunday at Harbour Town--I blame the early wake up call to get play in before storms--but Satoshi Kodaira made a beauty on the third hole of sudden death for his first PGA Tour win. He had never finished better than 28th in limited PGA Tour play. That 28th was at last week's Masters, so of course we should have seen this coming.
