When one comes to the quality of the bunkers and other hazards we pass into realm of much dispute and argument. Primarily bunkers should be sand bunkers purely, not composed of gravel, stones or dirt. Memorial Vows To Go On After Lord Tressel's Resignation

Jim Tressel's resignation was a blow for this week's Memorial in Ohio, but also for sweater vest wearers hoping to drape themselves in the retro clothing accoutrement to shield from accusations of looking the other way when your players are trading tattoos for memorabilia.

Dark days (at least in Ohio) indeed.

Here's George Dohrmann's SI story that expedited Tressel's demise on the eve of Jack's tournament.

Since Jack once dotted the i in Ohio, does this mean we'll be lowering the Memorial flags to half-mast? Sorry, I'm just enjoying this way too much.
