“My agent hates it because it’s probably costing me (endorsement) money off the course."

After Dave Shedloski's Golf World profile hit the web yesterday, GolfChannel.com's Rex Hoggard caught up with the former pothead to gauge the reaction he's received.

On Thursday, Garrigus – who finished tied for third place at the U.S. Open – said he had no regrets and thought the story was fair.

“My agent hates it because it’s probably costing me (endorsement) money off the course . . . but I was an idiot and I’m not that person anymore,” he said.

No players or PGA Tour officials have said anything to Garrigus about the story and he said whatever happens, “I can take it.”

Hoggard did Tweet earlier in the day that Tour drug testers for the tour were active Thursday, but Garrigus managed to escape a red card.
