When one comes to the quality of the bunkers and other hazards we pass into realm of much dispute and argument. Primarily bunkers should be sand bunkers purely, not composed of gravel, stones or dirt. Whether this or that bunker is well placed, has caused more intensely heated arguments outside of the realms of religion, than has ever been my lot to listen to. C.B. MACDONALD

Bloomberg's Mason Levinson reports that Sunday's PGA final round from Atlanta drew "a 14 percent lower major-market television rating" than last year's final round, which was down 33% from the prior year when Tiger Woods and Y.E. Yang dueled. And this is with the 60 Minutes audience watching the playoff!
Of course, the watchability of the telecast might have had something to do with the plunge as well.
