When one comes to the quality of the bunkers and other hazards we pass into realm of much dispute and argument. Primarily bunkers should be sand bunkers purely, not composed of gravel, stones or dirt. Tiger Might Want To Think About Even More Rep-Building Opps

Doug Ferguson looks at Tiger's decision to play the Frys.com Open and notes this bit of irony regarding Tiger's own tournament shifting to a world rankings-based field.

Woods has some appearances in Asia before going to the Australian Open in Sydney on Nov. 10-13, followed by the Presidents Cup in Melbourne. After a week off, he would finish his year at the Chevron World Challenge, assuming he is eligible. That's for the top 50 in the world, and Woods fell to No. 38 in the world ranking this week.

The field does still have two spots for sponsor's invitees selected by the, uh, Tiger Woods Foundation. However, you must be in the top 50 to be considered for one of those spots.
