When one comes to the quality of the bunkers and other hazards we pass into realm of much dispute and argument. Primarily bunkers should be sand bunkers purely, not composed of gravel, stones or dirt. PGA Mower Brush Lawsuit Settled**

Golfweek Staff reports the case was thrown out Feb. 1** and the brushes are still used on Atlanta Athletic Club's mowers.

The manufacturer of those brushes, Rod Lingle of GreensPerfection, took exception and filed a lawsuit against Atlanta Athletic Club, Mangum and the PGA of America.

That suit was dimissed Feb. 1 in Desoto County (Miss.) Circuit Court. Terms were not disclosed.

“We felt a responsibility to our current customer’s concerns, as well as potential customers, to make sure they knew our product was safe and effective,” Dingle said in a statement. “GreensPerfection brushes are incapable of damaging any greens in the way represented by the defendants.”

**The case was dismissed because it was settled, something not noted in the report.
