Husband-Wife Aces In Consecutive Days: "We're both about 30-handicappers.''

Thanks to Pete Finch for Tweeting The Ledger's Del Milligan story on Winter Haven's Linda and Charlie Willis. They carded holes-in-one at Four Lakes Golf Club on back-to-back days earlier this month.

Linda's ace was on Friday, April 6, from 120 yards with a driver, while Charlie followed with an 8-iron from 135 yards on Saturday, April 7.

"It cost me a lot of money,'' said Charlie, who bought rounds of drinks twice.

"We thought we'd be lucky on lottery tickets, but that didn't work,'' Charlie said.

Linda, 65, and Charlie, 66, were competing in the Jack Benson Member-Member Tournament, but weren't in the same pairings either day. Deb O'Brien saw Linda's ace go in the hole, while her husband, Tom O'Brien, witnessed Charlie's hole-in-one.
