Steiny In Rare Admission Of Ineptitude: "We're probably a little bit behind with social media"

Sounds like someone's ten-percenter has been hearing from companies that they want his client doing more Facebook and Twitter, so as Bob Harig reports, Tiger will by-pass the media center prior to the Wells Fargo Championship.

Woods, who will play his first tournament since the Masters at Quail Hollow in Charlotte, is expected to post a video on his website on Monday in which he will answer selected fan questions submitted through Facebook and Twitter.

Oh yes, the kids love pre-recorded and edited videos with pre-selected questions. That's really getting social media...in 2008.

"We've been thinking about this for a couple of months now," Steinberg said Friday night. "We wanted to have a little bit more direct interaction with fans, and they've been very good to him over the years. We're probably a little bit behind with social media and this is a way to do that."
