First Masters Question: How Is A Bubba Watson Win Anything But Good For Golf?

It's not well known, nor should anyone care, but Bubba Watson has a bit of a strange relationship with the press. You'd think when confronted with the arduous task of having to write another Louis major win that such grumbling would subside and rose petals would be dropped in front of Bubba every time he enters the press room, but that won't happen.

Either way, I am having trouble containing my excitement about Bubba's win.

I had a nice chat with a bright young man and aspiring golfer Friday night of tournament week who said he loves Bubba's game because he enjoys watching someone shape shots. He is drawn to seeing someone create and move the ball the way Bubba does.

Could Bubba actually revive shotmaking, shotshaping and playing by feel? The equipment certainly doesn't make it easy, but he could lead a revolution?

Can anyone think of a reason not to be excited about this win?
