Clinton & Rory Tee It Up, Humana Challenge Re-match Unlikely

Other than Phil Mickelson, the superstar no-show rate at Bill Clinton's Humana Challenge has been pathetic particularly when you couple in the changes made by the tour to make the event less traumatic (5 days to 4, one pro-am partner). Clinton spoke at the Tiger Woods Learning Center opening, yet Woods seems unlikely to play there again this year.

Rory McIlroy is also unlikely to play as the Humana conflicts with the European Tour's Abu Dhabi stop. Still, at least they had this moment, as Tweeted by the former president.

Perhaps the fact that 90% of PGA pros are republicans has something to do with that (fwiw, I have no idea what the actual stats are...my guess is great than 60%)...

That doesn't mean that they are right.
Look at what the GOP is doing to the Country in the name of self-interest.

Clinton needs Tiger a whole lot more than Tiger needs Clinton.

You think self-interest isn't the prime objective on both sides of isle, Stanley? The country (i.e. voter) isn't exactly an innocent bystander in this mammoth clusterf*%k. Sometimes we get what we deserve.

What town in SW Ireland has a statue of Clinton in it? Is it near Waterville? Our Irish Golf tour said the Irish LOVE Clinton.

Looks like Portmarnock GC, crest on Clinton's sweater. Great course and I imagine a great day.

U2 just got a new 10 record deal. Edge learned another note.

Nothing wrong with two has beens playing a round of golf together! Take a look at Rory's empty, soulless mansion in Florida that is featured on his website and you will get a sense that this poor, little rich guy has become a little boy lost. The celebrity lifestyle has 'got' him in her clutches. At 24, he should be only thinking about golf and only playing golf. If he doesn't, he has no chance of getting back to where he was. The Jordan Speith's of this world will 'eat him for breakfast.' Pro golf is a treadmill. If you step off - you may never get back on safely.

Interesting viewpoint there Ivan.

Hey, what's the status of that pesky wisdom tooth?

Hey, what's the status of that pesky wisdom tooth of Rory's?

It must have been extracted, I'd guess.

I'd have liked Ghillie's take on this...

Where is she, anyway? I miss her.
