Flashback: When Lindsey Mocked Tiger
Thanks to reader John from sending in this Time item from three years ago where Sean Gregory of Time quoted new Tiger Facebook friend Lindsey Vonn uttering less than nice things about her future beau.
And like millions of Americans, Vonn can't help poking fun at Woods' staged event. When a member of her Vonn-tourage tells her that Woods gave a few friends hugs after ending his statement, she cracks, "They're like, 'Yeah, you're awesome, you go have that sex.' " The room breaks into a laugh. Then she describes a skit she would want to perform if asked to host Saturday Night Live: picture Vonn at Woods' podium, blue backdrop and all. "There's something you don't know about me," Vonn says in a faux solemn, apologetic voice. "Tiger, you're like my idol, and I too have a sex problem." More laughter. "That would be freaking funny."
Meanwhile the Deadspin Photoshop contest has turned in some real gems interspersed with plenty of Perkins references and other so-so efforts. It's kind of an odd slideshow window, but just be aware of the arrows on the left and right of the images at the bottom of the post to navigate the hundred or so entries.

One other thing. Stolen proudly from a friend and close observer of the Game: "If Lindsey Vonn ever comes after Tiger with a 9-iron, he ain't gonna get up and drive away..."
This really is problematic for the other players...Augusta odds should have been further adjusted in Tiger's favor on this news alone. At this point he's pretty much a lock for one major and probably two in 2013. There might not be a crow left in the world if he were to win 3!
1. Tiger by five in all the majors.
2. Never bet on Rory.
3. The physical conditioning of Vijay Singh will allow Vijay to finish off Rory on the weekend of the PGA Championship.
And your still in the prediction game? LMFAO
You're memory is as bad as your prediction skills.
I suppose if Tiger stuggles in the majors this year, you memory will quickly begin to fade again.

Stay away from predictions and go try something that you are better at.
Here's a 3 part question for the field...
...Rory entered 2013 ranked #1 in the OWGR:
1. Will he retain the #1 ranking for all of 2013?
2. If not, will he drop out of the top-10?
3. If not, will he ever be #1 again, and when?
Hey Ski Bunny, if you are not that cool on the kids in Tiger's lije, just wait until you meet other members of the posse - namely Kultida!
Del, the real question is not about Rory- he WILL (continue to now, or be number 1 again in 2013 (question #3), beyond that- here is the REAL question to ask...
THIS WEEK: will TW choke?... if he is leading or has a chance to win, will he get it done on the back 9 on Sunday? I say no- he will not win/become #1. Sorry...
AND- I am not a TW ''hater''- I just think the nerves will win-- this time.
Betcha a Silver Dollar, or a Bonnie Franklin Dollar if that is your preference. You on?
Now as for Tiger and Bay Hill, sure I'll take a dollar bet...as my old boss used to say, "hell, I'd pay a dollar to watch a monkey f*** a football". (that line works well when your opponent is deciding whether or not to press;) Is it your opinion Tiger will be leading Bay Hill with 9 holes to play?
It surprises me that you'd characterize me as "devoted" in regards to Tiger...where does that come from? Is it because I know he will continue to win and say so? This opinion is derived from unemotional and unbiased observational and analytical skills honed by years and years of experience at the highest levels of the game. Got it? (I just may be demented but that has nothing to do with Tiger!)
digger, be honest with yourself and us, you really do really really really severely dislike Tiger don't you? Let's characterize it as one step removed from hate. Right? See the problem with people who harbor such strong feelings about something is those feelings prevent them from effectively analyzing that topic, emotion gets in the way. Angry people said Tiger would quit the game in 2012, wrong. They mad ones said he would never win another Tour event, wrong. The angriest said he could only win 2nd rate Tour events and would never win a WGC or major, wrong. Now all the just this side of hate people have left is "he can't win a major", they'll be wrong about this too -- just watch. In all that I've not said one nice thing about Tiger, simply listed all the performance related things the angry folks were wrong about.
I'm having trouble interpreting your answers to the Rory question, could you please restate?
Last thing on your Tiger related thesis...don't athletes generally improve in their handling of pressure related situations the more they experience them?
