Video: Meet The 23-Month-Old Anchorer!

I know, he's totally adorable, but yes, Owen Kopinski is an anchorer!

He was on the Today Show showing off his anchored swing, and can be seen in the video below draining some bombs with the putter anchored. I still say ban it.

Sorry, Little Owen. This is for the best. Some day when you are winning the Masters with a conventional grip, you'll understand!

Thanks to reader Chuck for sending this Daily Mail write up of Owen's appearance.

It's cute and touching and all but it seems like the ball goes in the hole no matter where you hit it on that putting green....

Interesting that he uses left hand low... I predict we'll see Vijay trying this grip within days... And just think, when the big bad rules boys take it away, Keegan and Scott, et al, can show the kid bawling as part of their lawsuit for "growing the game..."

Would also be fun to give the little guy a regular putter and see if he could make anything -- even on the same "fixed" in-store green. If he couldn't, the other side could use it in their argument in the lawsuit. <g>

Those drain holes make great in store putter sales gimmicks.

Cute kid.
