Vijay's Case Is In The Appeal Stage, Dawson Says

From Alistair Tait's report on the IGF and R&A Chief Executive's illuminating session with select UK press:

“The process that we’re going through with Vijay Singh, or rather the PGA Tour is, is taking a long time. I understand that it’s in the appeal stage and the time limit on that runs out in the next couple of weeks. So we should be hearing about some sort of determination quite soon. That‘s unofficial, but it’s a matter for them to say that.”

has anyone else heard rumours that there are several players on the Champions Tour who have been using this deer antler spray? It might explain why Vijay hasn't (yet) been publicly flogged....

i honestly thought VJ would be quietly gone after the Masters. Dunno whether he's exempt for the Opens and/or PGA--if not, he could go away for 90 daysw/o anyone noticing

If Dawson is looking for cooperation from Finchem on the anchoring issue this certainly isn't the way to get it.

I would not imagine Dawson is "looking for" any such thing. Once the anchoring decision is taken, the PGA Tour will have to fall into line or lose all credibility -- and, let's face, it, the vast majority even of PGAT players do not anchor. People were invited to comment. Finchem did, as was his right. End of.

Ghillie if that's true and Dawson is a big boy that's in no need of help/cooperation why is he whinging about his hurt feelings and characterizing the positions taken by the PGAT & PGAoA as a setback? The level of imagination possessed by many on this site is truly amazing! If anyone has a credibility problem it's Dawson.
