Tiger's On Schedule To Return Even Though There's No Schedule For His Return

He's doing "light" chipping as opposed to heavy chipping, reports Bob Harig after speaking with Tiger Woods agent Mark Steinberg.

"He's doing a little bit more and more each day," Steinberg told "He's getting to the point of light chipping and putting and the doctors and trainers seem to be pleased with where he is. He is on schedule but we don't know what that schedule means. I don't know when he intends to be playing competitively.

"But I expect it to be this summer. I know that's a wide range, but as the weeks go by we'll be able to pinpoint an approximate time. It's still a little early for that. Nothing that has gone on from the day of the surgery until today gives me any pause to amend what I said then. I know that's broad and vague but we can't pinpoint a specific time until we're further along."

Thank God someone reported something about Tiger. I was getting worried that the media had forgotten about him today.

Get well soon Tiger!! Everybody here at Shackland really really misses you!!
How does Steinberg shave? The guy is so transparent he doesn't even leave a reflection in the mirror.
I prefer this nonsense to HackGolf nonsense.

Stop the presses! Source close to Tiger knows little, says not much to report. Nothing unexpected happening. Speculation that Tiger is Wolverine wanes due to healing process taking a normal human amount of time.

In other news, Buddy Alexander retires and as a fitting tribute, Golf Digest files an article that mentions Tiger Woods twice more than the subject of the article. And guess whose name is in the headline?

@BV -

And whose picture was in the article about Alexander's retirement? Hint: not Buddy.

"He is on schedule but we don't know what that schedule means." I wonder if the reporter ever thought to himself, "Gee, that doesn't make any sense."

Jack's record of 18 majors is safe.

Is light chipping similar to light petting?
