When one comes to the quality of the bunkers and other hazards we pass into realm of much dispute and argument. Primarily bunkers should be sand bunkers purely, not composed of gravel, stones or dirt. Calling Into Question Rory's Three-Minute Call

In what was not the most flattering of reports, the Times of London's Neil Harman reported (behind a pay wall) that Rory McIlroy broke off his engagement to Caroline Wozniacki in a three-minute call.

Christopher Clarey in the New York Times also reported the phone call breakup, but did not mention how long the call was.

I mention these not because this is important golf news, but to remind that they were as lightly sourced as possible and yet the headline was picked up universally. No doubt another example of this.

Brian Keogh at the Irish Golf Desk considered the Times of London report and punches some holes in what appears a very lightly sourced item.

Here was McIlroy's press conference where he was asked at the 8:40 mark about the call by Stephanie Wei.
