Jordan Spieth Wins Another Australian Open

The young Texan is still five Aussie Opens behind Gary Player and four behind Jack Nicklaus, but Jordan Spieth continues to thrive in his visits Down Under. He captured the Emirates Australian Open in a playoff over Ashley Hall and Cameron Smith at Royal Sydney.

Spieth won in 2014 and finished one back of Matt Jones last year at The Australian.

As a consolation prize, Hall, Smith and Aaron Baddeley earn spots in the 2017 Open Championship, reports John Huggan.
