Shehani Fernando, Ken Macfarlane and Elliot Smith of the Guardian feature this preview of You've Been Trumped, the Anthony Baxter documentary debuting at this week's Sheffield Doc/Fest on the controversy surrouding Donald Trump's Aberdonian golf resort. It's about five minutes long but worth checking out.There's an interesting looking new film with a few teasers online worth checking out.
After establishing the origin and subsequent history of Caddies of Scotland, the film then takes a spirited romp through the Highlands and Lowlands stopping at many golfing meccas to hear the wit, reverence and irreverence of Scottish Caddies.
Stick a tube up her nose and...ah, to be known for such poetic lines. And commercials:
Jon Fitzgerald's film about turning 40 and trying to become a great golfer has a one-day run nationally tomorrow, June 25th. Here's the theater listing for 23 cities.
Clocking in at 10 minutes, this looks more like an informercial for Bandon Dunes than anything else.
