2010 PGA Third Round Open Thread

It’s back!
Twenty years later Tatra Press has kindly allowed me to bring back Grounds For Golf now that golf architecture is of more interest to the masses. A new Introduction looks at what’s driven the interest growth and two new chapters I had a blast adding (plus a few edits to keep things up-to-date).
The Amazon purchase page for the book arriving June 15, 2026.

We should top 70 here tomorrow (with no rain in sight) in the Home of the Homeless where they really never, ever, ever will bring the PGA again, but it looks much better in Atlanta where next year's sweatfest/rain delay celebration takes place.
I got several emails and messages about a horrible Jim Huber/TNT piece on Bubba Watson and embarrassing slobber from EA Sports/Tiger Marching and Chowder Society Chair David Feherty. Lo and behold, I hit play and had no audio on the DVR recording (clearly a higher power intervening).
Other than a Christina Kim Tweet begging Jim Nantz to stop calling Matt Kuchar "Kooch" (good luck with that Christina), I didn't see much on Twitter.
Your gripes from day two of the PGA please...
Now that the dust has settled from the unphotographed media center spat (how does that happen BTW?) over Jim Gray's report that Corey Pavin told him that he would inevitably select Tiger Woods for the Ryder Cup squad, I'm curious who you believe. Poll time!
