What Would You Rather See?

Super fast, crunchy, brown...or sort of fast, sort of green, with fairways surrounded by dense rough?
I ask because I love what I'm seeing in the early photos out of Hoylake. We haven't seen the world's best play something this dry in a long, long time.
But if the scores are super low, will this taint the concept of "lean" conditions?
