Pat Perez Locates Rejected Waterboy; Video Of Incident Remains Removed By PGA Tour

Now here's a story where Pat Perez acted like a "dick head" (his words, probably causing another fine), then, using Twitter, not only apologized but made the fine gesture to track down the young man and his father to apologize and send a little thank you.

I bet the kid becomes a fan for life. And you have to love Perez's persistence in seeing the error of his ways and making things right. For all the fawning over pro golfers and their purported purity, you do have to wonder how many other pro athletes would have done this?

Anyway, the video of Perez's post-round pouting has been taken down, meaning the only entity coming out badly in this is the over-controling, image-paranoid PGA Tour. After all, here's a story that ultimately ends on a positive note, with a player going out of his way to reach out to a fan, and the only image we are left with is a copyright claim by Ponte Vedra.
