Q-School Reboot Idea On Hold Until (At Least) '13

Sean Martin reports that the PGA Tour's push to remake Q-School into a Nationwide Tour-only qualifier is not going to happen until at least 2013 now.

“I think that’s 2013 for sure on the Q-School/Nationwide Tour restructure,” Nationwide Tour president Bill Calfee told Golfweek. “We’re working on the specifics of seeding and points, how you bring the players from the two tours together for the final three events of the year. We’re definitely making progress.”

Martin goes on to explain how the entire scenario of a season ending fall finish between Nationwide Tour and PGA Tour players is designed to help the Nationwide find a sponsor to replace...Nationwide. I've also heard that several players, including Rickie Fowler, have been vocal in player meetings in support of Q-School as a direct pipeline to the PGA Tour.
